Michael Neal

Mr. Neal served as the Chairman and CEO of GE Capital of GE Energy Services, Inc., GE Energy, GE Commercial Aviation Service Limited, GE Aviation Systems LLC and GE Oil & Gas until July 1, 2013. Mr. Neal served as the President and CEO of General Electric Capital Corporation from July 2008 to July 1, 2013. He served as the President and CEO of GE Capital since September 2008. He served as the Chairman of the Board, CEO and President of GE Capital Services. He has been recognized for planning and implementing successful GE Capital core growth strategies, acquiring and building throughout Asia but notably in Japan, while driving Six Sigma and e-Business to deliver breakthrough productivity. He served as the CEO and President of GE Commercial Finance at GEFS (Suisse) AG and General Electric Capital Services Inc., a business unit of General Electric Company since 2002. He served as the Senior Vice President and Advisor of General Electric Company, holding company of GE Capital Bank (formerly, GEFS (Suisse) AG) and has been an Executive Officer since September 2002. He served as Senior Vice President of GE Commercial Finance. He served as the President and COO of GE Capital Corporation since 2000. Mr. Neal has held various assignments at General Electric Company since he began in 1979. He joined GE Capital in 1987 as Vice President and General Manager of Vendor Financial Services. In 1990, he served as General Manager of Commercial Equipment Financing. He served as Executive Vice President of GE Capital from 1994 to 1999. He led the effort to acquire Heller Financial Services, which at $20 billion is largest-ever GE Capital acquisition. He served as the Chairman of General Electric Capital Corporation since July 2008. He served as the Chairman of the GE Capital New York Connecticut /New Jersey tri-state United Way campaign and participates in several local community volunteer activities through GE ELFUN. He has been Vice Chairman of General Electric Company since 2005. He served as Vice Chairman of GE Capital. He served as Vice Chairman of Commercial Financial Services of General Electric Co. since July 2005. He serves as a Member of the U.S. Advisory Board of the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD) and serves as a Trustee of Fairfield University. He serves as a Trustee of the Georgia Tech Foundation and serves on the Board of Stamford based Soundwaters. He served as a Director of GE Capital. He received a B.S. Degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1975.
